Sotrad Water was created to develop, manufacture, market and install water treatment plants capable of producing between 1m³ and 200m³ of water per hour from surface water and combining a set of advanced technologies ensuring water of superior quality that meets the bacteriological standards imposed by the WHO Sotrad Water offers many water treatment solutions adapted to the needs of both populations and industries, as well as storage solutions. Mindful of the difficulties encountered in emerging countries, Sotrad Water solutions are designed to be offered "turnkey", easy to use and maintain, durable and requiring little energy and consumables. Sotrad Water develops compact and easily transportable solutions to reach all areas, both rural and urban. Among the applications of Sotrad Water units, we can distinguish two major sectors:

Our history
Sotrad Water was created by Jean-Charles De Muylder in December 2009. With his experience as an agricultural engineer and more than 25 years of professional life in Africa, it seemed important to him to provide solutions to enable rural populations to emerging countries to have access to drinking water through pumping, treatment, storage and distribution units that best integrate the realities on the ground in these decentralized areas and all too often excluded from conventional investment plans. Thanks to its teams of engineers motivated by the innovative integration of technologies and by a solid field experience, Sotrad Water strives to actively participate in increasing access to water for rural and peri-urban populations for the development of emerging countries. The company also plays an important role in economic development by contributing to the promotion of local productions on the national and international market (Livestock, food products, hygiene standards for export, etc.) The values of the industrial project are focused on the sustainable development of rural and decentralized areas. Sotrad Water has installed pumping, treatment and storage equipment in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia and Central America
