As part of the implementation of a new pasta and semolina factory at Moulin Moderne du Mali in Ségou, Sotrad Water supplied, supervised and trained in the use of a water treatment station with a capacity of 12 m3 / h combining raw water pumping, treatment and storage.
Process
The raw water undergoes pre-filtration at 25 microns followed by ultrafiltration at 0.01 microns, the heart of the system allowing complete disinfection and clarification of the water. The treated water feeds a 5 m3 buffer tank where it is treated. Part of the water produced undergoes an additional treatment by reverse osmosis to supply the boiler.
Solar pumping, water treatment & distribution (Phase 1)
Under a contract with the Riverstone Karma mining company active in Burkina Faso, Sotrad Water produced and installed a solar pumping station complete with arsenic treatment and residual chlorine dosage as well as a solar booster for supply a village of 2,000 inhabitants.

More than 7,500 Wp of solar panels have been installed on this site. The treated water is stored in a modular tank of 50m3 and accessible through distribution via several standpipes.
