Drinking water supply to the Abéché military base as part of a UN mission

The Togolese Armed Forces (FAT) are deployed in Chad to ensure the security of the MINURCAT base in Abéché. Sotrad Water supplied and installed two water treatment units to supply the 200 members of this force with drinking water for all the needs of the camp.
This installation enabled the FAT to do away with the delivery by plane, from France, of bottled drinking water and therefore to gain autonomy while reducing its operating costs.

Mobile Drinking Water Supply Unit installed on a pick-up

In collaboration with Transautomobile, Sotrad Water has developed and manufactured 4 water treatment stations installed on pick-ups and intended for the supply of drinking water.
The units, designed in a 100% independent stainless steel skid, are designed to supply 30 to 40 m3 per day from the vast majority of fresh surface water, and therefore to be of essential support in emergency situations. The units are also equipped with a 5 m3 flexible tank and distribution ramps for efficient deployment in the field.
